Holiday Happenin

We had such a great time yesterday at the Holiday Happenin. Everyone there participating is so incredibly talented. A HUGE THANKS to Kara for opening her home. Here are a few pics.

Adoption Timeline

6/15/10 - Began to work with adoption agency to adopt a girl from Ukraine (6-8 yrs old)

6/21/10 - Contacted Home Study Agency

6/28/10 - Mailed adoption agency application

6/29/10 - Adoption application approved

7/1/10 - Mailed in retainer agreement & fee

7/2/10 - Retainer received

7/6/10 - Mailed home study application (pending dr appt)

7/9/10 - Conference call regarding Dossier process

7/24/10 - Home study visit

8/7/10 - Garage sale fundraiser

8/23/10 - Received approved home study

8/31/10 - INS paperwork turned in

9/4/10 - Received I-797 C waiting for biometrics

9/24/10 - USCIS Appointment

10/12/10 - Dossier Apostilled

10/12/10 - Call from agency that haults process

1/1/11 - Starting over

4/9/11 - Found out we were pregnant

5/4 and 5/18/11 - Saw baby's heartbeat

6/15/11 - Heard baby's heartbeat for first time
